Finnish developer ‘Rovio Mobile’ announced that their flagship game- Angry Birds; the bird-flinging, pig-destroying portable strategy game franchise have been downloaded more than 1 billion times.
The milestone comes after the March release of the game's first true sequel, Angry Birds Space (read our review of SPACE), which blasted off to 10 million downloads in just three days (according to Gamespot).
Angry Birds was launched in 2009 and is available on a range of platforms, including iOS, Android, PlayStation 3, Symbian and also Web browsers like Google Chrome.
