Furniture giant IKEA is apparently out to revolutionise the concept of environment-friendly designs, as the company officially unveiled a digital camera housed in a cardboard body, which it plans to sell/give away in its stores around the globe.
The cardboard IKEA digicam can store up to 40 pics and has a USB port for transferring snaps to your computer. The device is designed to run on two AA batteries. Plus, it should be way more ‘green’ than those plastic disposable cameras.
There’s no word just yet on pricing but sources say, it may not go on sale and may be given away at certain IKEA stores. Anyways, we think the design looks pretty cool. Right?
