Good news Nokia and batman fans. Nokia is showing off its mapping software with a new 3D replica of Gotham City.
Why good news? Because, we get a good look into Gotham City, and also because we remember the fallen brand; for the good.

Built to help promote the newest Batman film-Dark Knight Rises, the map lets you navigate through a 3D reconstruction of Gotham. You can pan over the city as a whole, as well as get up close and personal with city landmarks such as Wayne Tower and Arkham Asylum.
Sound effects such as wind and rain are present throughout the city replica, and each landmark has a hidden bat-shield that when found will enter you to win “exclusive Dark Night Rises” prizes, including a special edition Nokia 900 phone. (After finding the shields, we couldn't answer any of the questions.)
Definitely intriguing to Batman fans. But the site also shows off what Nokia is capable of on the mapping front, and what customers might be able to expect from mapping on Windows Phone in the future.
Maps have been a hot topic in the world of smartphones lately. Both Google and Apple have shown off their 3D mapping apps over the past few months.
You can check out Gotham on your computer by going to Nokia’s special landing page for the demo and signing in via Facebook to use the app. Lazy to check it out...Just go through the gallery.
