It is quite public that Samsung is the official sponsor of the 2012 Summer Olympics which is due in July in London. However, we didn’t quite expect to have come across a special edition Samsung device.
Called the Galaxy Note Olympic Edition, the phone-Tab (feel free to call it whatever you want) comes with a special glossy black cover with the Union Flag on it.
There is also a possibility that other such versions of the phone may be sold in other regions of the world with their respective flags but for now we just have this one picture which was uploaded on Twitter by the phone’s owner.
Samsung also has special edition models of the Galaxy Y, with the special back covers. Buyers can win tickets to an Olympic Games event, Team GB training camp or a celebration event for every purchase of these phones. Samsung will be contributing £1 (600 Bzs) to Team GB athletes of the future.
