Silently, over a two-month period, we held a ‘Browser battle’. Yep, as the name states, we have lined up the top-10 browsers used by visitors to view this web-site.

Anyways, here are the results. There was no big and serious surprise when it came to the top three. But it was quite interesting to see that we received contradicting results, as to what was claimed by cell-phone website- GSMARENA.

The team posted on their blog, results showing Google chrome as the leading web-browser. That was followed by Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. However, there is a bit of a change in our results, as you will see here.

10) Symbian browser

9) Rockmelt

8) Opera

7) Opera Mini

6) Internet Explorer

5) Safari

4) Android browser

3) Older versions of Mozilla

2) Google Chrome

1) Mozilla Firefox

Over the two-month period, we received over 1,125 unique visitors from over 49 countries. USA emerged top, and was followed by Oman and UK. United Arab Emirates came at a shocking eight and India came at a reasonable fifth.

We are also glad to see that 268 unique visitors used mobile-phones as the primary source to visit our site. It just shows how much the priorities in technology have changed from PC’s to basic hand-held tablets and smart-phones.

Here is the list of the top-10 hand-held devices that are used to visit alvinemman.weebly.com.

10) Motorola Droid 2 (Verizon)

9) Samsung Galaxy SII (GT-I9100)

8) Motorola xt875 Droid Bionic

7) HTC Desire X0H6T

6) HTC PC36100 EVO 4G

5) Apple iPod Touch

4) SonyEricsson LT15i Xperia Arc

3) Samsung Galaxy Note

2) Apple iPad

1) Apple iPhone

I also take this opportunity to sincerely thank all of you who visited this site and have helped us grow. We seriously hope to implement a few more important pages (like a specifications and buyer-guide).

NOTE: Information such as Email ID’s or IP addresses will never be stored by our website, nor will be distributed to companies, so that they can send you promotions and boring stuff like that. We also sincerely appreciate your help by not posting spam on our comments section.

Certainly, a good review here.
It is also interesting that Firefox turns up no.1. I personally thought that chrome would have topped, because of the large following here.
Anyways, I like the non-biased approach of this site.
Please attach a by-line so that we can distinguish the writer also.
