We had posted a video on the drop test between the iPhone 4S vs. the Samsung Galaxy SII some time ago. And if you remember the Galaxy SII won. But AndroidAuthority decided to redo the drop test from last year.
Well, yeah there are changes. Like the Galaxy S III now comes with Gorilla Glass 2, instead of the original, so it is interesting to see how this one will fare in the same challenge.

But mind you, the drop test doesn’t come even close to being scientific – the phones hit the ground at different angles which has a pretty huge effect on the result. Nevertheless, the video is fun to watch if you don’t get chills watching expensive gadgetry getting tortured.

Update: In the above video, the girl did not switch on the device after it lost its battery. The phone ought to work.
Now to the next. Square Trade has also uploaded their version of Galaxy S III and iPhone 4S drop test. It looks like they cheated a little bit and tested an iPhone 4 instead of an iPhone 4S. Nevertheless, if you want to see even more tests where the ultra-expensive smartphones get abused, the video is below.
Okay, now I'm hoping this isn't true. Anyways, news whether this is actually true will only come up after a few more tests. Oooh, Apple fans should love this.
