How it Works

TORRENTS: When you download a (.) torrent file, you are essentially downloading a small file that contains information on the larger files you want to download. The torrent file tells your torrent client the names of the files being shared, a URL for the tracker, and more.

Your torrent client then calculates a hash code, which is a unique code that only your torrent has—kind of like an ISBN or catalog number. From there, it can use that code to find others uploading those files, so you can download from them.

The story on how Pirate Bay was reduced to just 90MB of data

We needn't do this because Pirate Bay is anyways banned in our country. But it still is quite famous across the rest of the world for its vast array of available torrents and lawsuits clinging to it. The site is also quite well-known within the film, television and music industries, thanks all the free downloads that ruins their yearly incomes.

What's up with Nokia these days?

Seems like nothing great is going on within the Nokia stables, as they went into a rather disappointing week this May. Firstly, they said that another new update will be required for Lumia phones to visit the Windows Marketplace (further highlighting the downfall because of bugs in their flagship Lumia models), then they dropped Skype for the Lumia 610, scrapped the Symbian Carla OS and also witnessed the Samsung pull ahead of all sorts of visible competition with the Galaxy SIII.

You probably would have, if you are an Indian. A cricket enthusiast. A tech enthusiast or even a budget keeper, partly because there seems to be absolutely nothing in the Indian market that seems to be a rival to Micromax mobile phones.

It is only our second hands-on review of an electronic device, but we already hear that the man at ‘Nokia store’ is happy with our positive review of the N9. Nevertheless, here we are with our first Samsung device which we got for a full-on and in-depth test.

We are all aware of how good Samsung has been in the world-wide smart-phone market, ever since they overtook electronic giants-Nokia. And it was just recently that they released the ‘Third Generation’ Samsung Galaxy. Dubbed the GT I9300 or Galaxy SIII the device promises a bright future for the company. However, the Samsung device in question here is an S Plus.

So we got to play with a Nokia N9

It is not everyday, that we get to play with a high-cost piece of gadget available in the market. But courtesy some quick polite words, the nice man at Nokia Store, in City Centre Muscat lend me his precious show-piece for a quick hands-on review.

Technically, the N9 is not exactly Nokia’s first venture into the high-end gadgetry market, but it certainly is a first for Nokia, with new software; MeeGo to be precise. The blue-boy which I got my hands on was brand new, but was kept for showcasing, so I had to cover the review before we killed the juice.
